My computer is starting to have some problems. I think it is associated to a large amount of scanning I've been doing (transferring slides). Dmg File Won't Open On Mac Sierra Vista
I'm not sure if this is related to updating to 10.10.3, but it happened afterwards.
I can't open DMG files, and Disk Utility fails to launch. I have verified the disk and repaired disk permissions, but I still have the problem. Console says: 4/26/15 10:02:18.044 PM Disk Utility[563]: Unable to load nib file: DUApp.nib, exiting 4/26/15 10:02:18.047 PM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.DiskUtility.59388[563]) Service exited with abnormal code: 1 Everything else in my system is working fine. How would I re-install Disk Utility, without having to do a total OS re-install? I'm a bit of a noob, although I've had this rig running since late 2009 with snow leopard/Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite.
